Educational Supervision Course

In order to be able to approve Educational Supervisor competence, the Deanery have developed seven core criteria:

  1. Roles and Responsibilities of Educational Supervisors and an overview of the other key roles required in the training of doctors
  2. Guidance on required trainee assessments
  3. Appraisal processes and skills
  4. Educational theory and practice
  5. ARCP processes
  6. Equality and Diversity (certificated)
  7. Doctors in Difficulty

Selection Methodology

The Selection Methodology Workshop carries 3 CPD points, and is important for those who are, or may be involved in, an appointments panel in the future. For a place on any of these days please email Maisie Shrubsall, PA to Dr Geoff Wright.

The ARCP Workshop carries 3 CPD points and it is important that you have completed this training if you are an Educational Supervisor, or may be involved in an ARCP Review Panel in the future.
